If you’re looking for somewhere special for an anniversary dinner, try Paul Martin’s American Grill. While this Roseville restaurant is at the pricey end – you get what you pay for. Expect delicious American classics like salt and pepper shrimp, delicious burgers, and ribs so tender the meat falls off the bone.

Best of all, the service is impeccable. Whatever you need, the staff are there to help – but they never hover near your table. And there’s an incredible selection of craft beers and artisanal cocktails to finish off the night.

Con: The menu isn’t quite as extensive as before the pandemic.

Sometimes you just get an urge for a plate of tacos or chips, salsa, and an ice-cold beer. Here at Zócalo, the food is poppin’. With dishes you won’t see in most upscale Mexican eateries, it’s a chance to try some of the best Mexican food in the entire Sacramento region. Indeed, the cuisine is closer to coastal Mexican, with sweeter flavors.

And, the drinks are too good. Finish up with a pitcher of margaritas or Zócalo’s own mojito. Or, if you’re just passing by, grab a quick lunchtime snack. They’re classic El Burrito is to die for!

Cozy. Excellent service. Classic food cooked to perfection. At Brookfields, they’ve always got a dish you’re craving: whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Flat Iron Steak Dinner, Wild Alaskan Grilled Salmon, Chicken Fried Steak, and more American fare dishes make this a local’s favorite. 

The best thing about Brookfields is that you know, no matter how busy, the service and food are generally outstanding. You just keep coming back.

Yard House is the perfect place to watch the game, celebrate an event or do a date night.
They have a HUGE selection of drinks and pretty good food. 

They have really great service too. We usually come here for game night and drinks and 9 times out of 10 the service is quick, friendly and the food and drinks are on point.

We recommend starting off with some appetizers, a flight of beer and a pizza, especially if its happy hour. The pretzel, nachos and and some of their man courses like their pasta or fish tacos are also really well done.

Pros: Lots of menu options. LOTS of beer
Cons: Their simple menu items are on the pricey side.

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Il Fornaio. The interior is stunning, with a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is small, but every dish is divine. Indeed, the Head Chef comes from a long line of bakers and now brings his passion for cooking to some of the best Italian food in the region.
