I like stopping at Station 38 when I want to grab a quick coffee and a bit to eat. I am usually in there around 10am and usually there is little to no wait and I’m back out and on my way in about 10-15 minutes with parking included.

The location is really cute and has a nice vibe to it with the huge mural on the inside and the brick exterior.

The food tastes great and there are lots of options for you to try. There are lactose free and gluten free food and drink options and the pricing is very reasonable.

I recommend getting the Vietnamese coffee or the Thai Tea here at least once. They both have great flavor and strength and are not overly sweet.

Pros: Locally roasted vietnamese coffee, great food, quick and friendly service, dairy free options

Cons: May be hard to find parking on occasion. Their website is not the best but it gets the job done.

Service Options: Take out, Dine-in

Hours of Operation: Monday – Sunday 6am – 6pm

Philz Coffee is staffed with really caring staff and they will make just about any drink you could want. They also are really nice when it comes to returns. When I ask them to make me something different they usually let me know that I can swap it out for something else if I do not like it.

The location is perfect for a coffee shop. I like to stop by when I have to do some shopping at Safeway. I like to stop into Philz Coffee and then grab a bite at Mendocino Farms across the street.

If you live or work nearby Philz Coffee Shop in Downtown Sacramento then you will probably appreciate it for its service, location and pricing. Overall a lovely place.

Pros: Really helpful and informative staff. Tasty and creative drinks, really nice outdoor seating and plenty of parking.

Cons:  The straight black dark roast was not my favorite. Too strong and a bit burnt. Definitely recommend going with a specialty drink or a lighter roast. No espresso drinks. Franchise based business.

Address: 5700 Elvas Ave, Sacramento, CA 95819
Service Options: Dine- in, Takeout, Delivery, Outdoor Seating, Pet Friendly

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 6am – 6pm

Tupelo Coffee $ Roasting is a spacious and modern coffee shop that serves good coffee and specialty drinks like an Aztec Mocha, Mocha Thai, Thai coffee and a Vietnamese. They obviously do espresso drinks so that is very nice.

The drinks are overall pretty good and are reasonably priced and can be made lactose free.

I recommend coming to Tupelo Coffee if you are looking for a good cup of coffee or mixed coffee drink and/or if you need a good place to study or work.

The atmosphere is perfect for studying or having group study sessions or hangouts.

They do play background music though so it’s best if you bring your own headphones just in case you want to read or study on your own.

Pros: Great service, lots of parking, free Wi-Fi, room to study with your laptop, pet friendly.

Cons: They play their own music and can be distracting when trying to work so bring your own headphones. The food options are ok. If you want a full lunch go somewhere else.
